Majlis Perasmian Machichang Strawberry Farm telah disempurnakan oleh YBhg. Dr Ahmad Hezri Adnan, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif LADA merangkap Pengerusi Lembaga Pengarah PLSB. Program kerjasama antara PLSB dan Lang Agro Sdn Bhd ini akan memberikan pengalaman yang baru kepada pengunjung. Projek ini adalah projek rintis tanaman strawberry hidroponik di Langkawi. Sebanyak 400 pokok strawberry sebagai pemulaan projek Machinchang Strawberry Farm ditanam di Puncak Gunung Machichang.
